MOT testing for American vehicles

At Paragon we have always worked on American vehicles and our low-access MOT ramps are particularly suitable for low-riders and hot rods. We have up-to -the-minute VOSA approved MOT testing equipment supplied by Snap-On Diagnostics, the leading company in their field.  Retests are normally free and our opening times are:

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm (last test time 5pm)

Saturday 8.30am to 1pm (last test time 12 noon)

As we are owners and drivers of US built vehicles we know what is and isn’t a legal requirement for imported vehicles, whatever their age. We’ve MOT tested everything from a 1928 Chrysler to a 2005 Cadillac – and everything in between.

Bring your US vehicle to a company that knows its way around them, and one fully conversant with the necessary lighting regulations to ensure compliance. And if it’s an older vehicle, we know the exemptions it’s subject to.

And remember, you can MOT your vehicle up to 28 days before its current MOT expires and, if it passes, the new MOT will automatically add on any unexpired time from the old certificate. That means you don’t lose anything but, if the vehicle fails, you have time to get it repaired with the old certificate still valid.
